Hyperion Essbase 11.1.2.1 Installation
This blog will explain you how to install Essbase 11.1.2.1 in your computer.
There are few steps need to be done on your computer before you start installation.
Steps:

1. Computer minimum requirement: minimum 60GB HDD, 3GB RAM, 2.0

2. Turn firewall off in windows: go to control panel select firewall option then then select turn off.

      if you will see screen (figure 2) then disable firewall in your third party firewall like norton or avast.

3. Install updated version of Java on your computer to down load go to www.java.com and follow the                                                   direction, if your computer is running 32bit operating then install 32bit or if the computer is running 64bit operating system then select 64bit. 

4. Install SQL Express 2008 on your computer it is free and can be download from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1695

select 32bit if your are running 32bit operating system or select 64bit if you are running 64bit operating system. if you are running windows vista then install SQL Express 2005 on your computer for vista click here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1695

5. Disable UAC (User Account Control) on windows

Method of Disable or Turn Off UAC (User Account Control) in Control Panel

To user Control Panel to disable UAC in Windows 7, there are several methods to access the User Account Control settings page:

1. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Account.
2. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> Action Center.
3. Click or right click on Flag icon in notification area (system tray), and then Open Action Center.
4. Type “MsConfig” in start search to start System Configuration, then go to Tools tab, select Change UAC Settings, then click on Launch button.

1. Click on User Account Control settings link.

6. create account at www.oracle.com if you do not have an account.

7. now go to www.edelivery.oracle.com , then select below option in figure 3

after download all these above it is RECOMMENDED TO create folder ( document_download ) at root directory and then extract all these above file in this folder. example D:\document_download


After extract all zip folders in document_download folder open document_download folder:
Select Install Tool.cmd then right click and run as administrator
